My career in print and film styling began behind the lens – as a photographer. I developed a unique understanding and appreciation of composition and the technical relationships between light and film from this perspective as I observed how each one affects the other.
This knowledge is what led me to pick up the brushes and become my own stylist, giving me an advantage that other stylists didn't have.
I’ve found my true passion in styling. After more than 25 years in the industry I still love my craft. Possessing a makeup artist of the year award from NAHA (North American Hairstyling Awards), I continue my professional development through seminars and workshops in Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago in order to stay current with contemporary techniques, technology, and materials.
My experience is what keeps producers coming back, but it’s my “eye” that makes my work special.
My broad knowledge and multifaceted perspective allow me to bring more than just makeup and style to your shoot. Photographer, videographer, restaurant manager, food stylist, casting director, producer, theater carpenter, electrician - during the course of my career, I have done all of these and more.
Adding value in many ways, you can rely on me to make a difference with your project. Chances are, you’ll see it in the first frame.
